FAQs

Do you accept insurance?

Not directly. We are out-of-network providers for all major healthcare insurance companies, which can cover fees at upwards of 80%.

To simplify reimbursement for our clients, our software will generate a customized statement (or "Superbill") that will be emailed to you each month for submission to your insurer.

Why an out-of-network therapist may be for you.

Do I have to go to therapy every week?

It depends. Many people will start therapy weekly—for several weeks or months—before transitioning to every other week (i.e. bi-weekly). Others may choose to begin attending bi-weekly. Either way is fine!

Length of treatment varies; however, most clients will engage therapy either for 2-12 months or for several years, depending on their needs and preference.

Do you do in-person or remote therapy?

Both. We currently offer remote sessions conducted via HIPAA-compliant secured video, called VSee, to all of our clients in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, District of Columbia, Virginia, Maryland and Washington state. We also offer in-person sessions at our office in center city Philadelphia.

How long are sessions?

The initial intake session is 60 minutes, and each session thereafter is 50 minutes.

Do you have immediate openings?

Yes. We offer daytime, evening, and weekend hours. Currently, evenings and Saturdays have limited availability.

Is this confidential?

Discussions between psychotherapist and patient are confidential. No information will be released without the patient’s written consent, unless mandated by law.
